We owned 4
Quarter Horse mares and a stallion when we attended the National
Appaloosa Show in Boise, Idaho in 1963. We purchased several
Appaloosa mares after observing the show and bred them to our stallion.
We got 2 very nice colored babies and 2 solids. The rest is history.
We have now foaled over 1400 Appaloosa babies since then. Our philosophy has always emphasized quality first, then adorn it with color. In this we have been highly successful. Our 2008 foal crop of 41 produced 36 highly colored babies, 19 of which are leopards. Our broodmare band of 85 mares are from easily recognized, popular pedigrees. Our stallions have competed well at approved shows and earned their ROM's. |
